Introduction for beginners to the basic rules of theory and practice of "canto plano" or Gregorian chants as taught by P. [Padre?] Nado, with notes on the history of the chants, their structure and composition, and instructions for singing. The text is illustrated with musical excerpts, and also contains scores of chants for aleluias, masses, psalms, communion, and holidays such as Christmas, with texts in Latin and Spanish.
